Power surges kill electronics!

Always use a surge suppressing powerbar to protect against undervoltage and overvoltage coditions. It is important to note that a surge suppressor will not protect your computer or electronic devices from lightning. Always make sure any high points (ie: towers) are properly grounded, and if you're going to be away for an extended period of time, reduce your risk by unplugging your electrical devices.
